Yesterday in Tivat we got two more teams for grand Montenegro finale in Podgorica on July 7.

6 teams competed in Tivat’s beautiful harbour, leaving viewers breathless while playing attractive disciplines such as flying water polo, water basket, tug of war, tourist rescuing and always hilarious donkey race.

Galioti from Tivat were most successful and finished with 60 points. We know them well from 2014., when they defended the colors of Montenegro at international finals. Now they’re showing the will to do the same this year again. Second placed team Sailing club Delfin will go to Podgorica as well. The most dramatic fight was the one for third place, since Fortuna and Frkadele teams ended in a draw. Third place went to Frkadele, because when the score is tied, points from the last game decide the advantage.

In Fortuna team, consisting of possibly most endering Montenegro athletes, we found Goran Vuković, basketball player from Italian club Angiulli. He told us he and his teammates weren’t really burdened with a win, they just came to hang out and have some good time.

We all had good time and with a lot of great memories we continue our tour. Next stop: Podgorica and the grand finale of Montenegro!
