It was the first time City Games tour hast stopped in Budva, but the event already impressed
the organizers and the spectators. At open pool of Vaterpolo klub Budva teams from three
different cities were competing – from Budva, Kotor and Podgorica. There were six
traditional disciplines in the menu – flying water polo, tourist rescuing, barrel race, prosciutto,
water basket and paddle. At the end with 49 points it was a team Leteći šugamani from Kotor
that won.

Great competition was opened with flying water polo where the goals were scored in many
different ways. There were a lot of attractive and combinatory moves, goals were scored with
heads, foots and hands and with 119 points the best team were home team Skuteri sa Lovćena.

How equal this competition was, says the information that in 6 different games 5 different
teams achieved maximum amount of points. In the second game the other team from Kotor
Boro pumpa create impressive result – they rescued their tourists very fast and without any
mistakes in 2:18 and took first 10 points.

Pingvini sa Madagaskara from Budva woke up after the third game and with three great
results in barrel race, prosciutto and water basket climbed at the first position. With great
support of spectators they were two points in front of Leteći šugamani from Kotor before the
last game paddle. As many times before, the power and good technique of the teams were
decisive for the big winner of the night. The first place and the ticket for the Montenegro final
was well deserved won by Kotor, taking gold medal in Budva.

The first City Games competition in Budva was organized by Opština Budva, Turistička
organizacija Opštine Budva and Adria events agency. After Kotor and Budva, City Games
will continue on Saturday in Herceg Novi at the pool Jadran at 7.30 p.m.
