After more than one month, international City Games tour, the popular games for all generations, came back to the Croatian coast. In Zaton were last night organized the first Croatian qualification with support of Turističke zajednice Grada Dubrovnika and Adria Events agency. In front of many spectators 6 teams were competing – from Dubrovnik Žuti mix and Emershow, from Komolac Ombla, from Neum Muzgavci and from Zaton Rekreativci and Majkovi.

The best start succeeded to Komolac, making 115 points in flying water polo, which was, due to height of the pier, really flying this time. Even result 2:01 in tourist rescuing got them maximum points and the first position in standing. Majkovi then tried to turn things around by winning donkey race and prosciutto, but their gap behind Komolac were still 8 points.

The last two games brought interesting fight for the second position. Muzgavci from Neum which were up to those games hiding behind, showed their great strength in water basket and paddle and with 25 points well deserved overcame Majkovi and won silver medal. At the end the best and the fastest team was Ombla from Komolac, winning 52 points and celebrated their victory with singing.

After Zaton City Games tour continues towards Okrug, where on 4. August the second Croatian challenger will be hosted and where we will already get the second finalists of Croatian City Games.
