The third national final – after Serbian and BiH – will be held on 27. July in Herceg Novi. There will be six teams, which qualified to the final, competing between each other, trying to take the trophy and become the one to represent Montenegro in the international part of City Games.
All of the finalists already played the Games this year – three of them in Tivat and three in Kotor. The right to play as a home team belong to two teams – to the current Montenegro´s and international winner Casa Igalo and to the last year´s Montenegro´s and international winner Jadran Škver. With no doubt, counting their great experience, these two teams always go as a major favorite for the victory. What makes them weaker, is the fact, that water basket will not be one of the games, while barrel race will be one of them. Jadran Škver didn´t make a good result in that game in Kotor and the captain of the team also told us they have never played it good before. It is also important to know that Casa Igalo didn´t win in Tivat and Galioti from Trebinje actually was much better, taking the gold there.
Beside mentioned three teams we will see another team from the home town, Triatlonci (they finished second in Kotor), the second team from Tivat – Šotokuci and one team from Kotor – Kotorska furija.
They will play flying waterpolo, barrel race, tourist rescuing, prosciutto, water alka and paddle.
In challengers the most points in flying waterpolo achieved Jadran Škver, but the circumstances were much different in Tivat and Kotor, comparing to each other and to Herceg Novi, where City Games will be played in the swimming pool. Barrel race is the weakest point for Škver, but we can expect big improvement of all of the competitive girls. Tourist rescuing and water alka are always under control of luck, in Tivat impressive time in tourist rescuing belonged to Casa Igalo. In prosciutto the player from Galioti was the fastest and will be able to take important points in this game. The paddle will most likely give us the big winner, so it will be important for competitors to do it proper, simultaneously and strong.
We will probably witness one of the best national final with very good and experienced teams and the winner, no matter who, will be for sure the favorite in the international par of City Games.
